What is ECU Remapping?
All modern vehicles are controlled by an ECU. Our technicians will be able to tweak the ECU to reprogramme, or map, the vehicle to perform differently. Our tweaks can increase performance, power and fuel economy of the vehicle. Our team do not change any hardware within the vehicle.
In most cases, the map stored within the ECU can be accessed by the on-board diagnostics port. Our team will be able to easily access this. In some case, our team may need to remove it from the vehicle and reprogramme on the bench.
What happens during the process?
